About Amber
Amber works with couples, families, and women, with particular interest in anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, and marriage. She has four years of experience in counseling, mental health, ministry, and related helping work.

Her counseling approach is grounded in the Think Right / Emotional Check Engine Lights framework and biblical truth. Amber believes that thoughts and beliefs play a major role in emotional and behavioral struggles and that meaningful change requires honest self-examination, perseverance, and a willingness to respond to life in ways that align with God’s Word.
She also draws on relationship-focused approaches, including Gottman principles, when working with couples and marriages.

Amber especially appreciates the Think Right / Emotional Check Engine Lights framework because of its emphasis on self-examination. She believes it helps clients recognize when something is off, examine what is happening beneath the surface, and consider how their thoughts, choices, and responses line up with Scripture rather than simply reacting to how they feel.

Her faith is central to both her life and her work. Amber believes Scripture should guide the way believers understand themselves, their circumstances, and their relationships. She wants clients to grow in their dependence on God, seek Him consistently, and learn to respond to difficulty in ways that reflect biblical truth rather than being ruled by emotion or circumstance.

Amber also brings a personal understanding of what it means to struggle, surrender, and experience significant change through faith in God. She wants clients to know that their current circumstances do not have to define where they remain and that God can bring purpose, growth, peace, and joy even in the midst of difficulty.

Clients can expect Amber to be nonjudgmental, empathetic, bold, honest, and approachable. Her goal is to help clients pursue genuine change, grow in personal responsibility, and develop a deeper walk with God while becoming increasingly grounded in truth.
