About Molly

Molly is a master's-level counselor and Board Certified Master Biblical Counselor. She holds an M.A. in Human Services Counseling: Marriage & Family and a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Studies from Liberty University. She is also a Certified Human Flourishing Coach and SYMBIS Assessment Facilitator. Her additional training includes trauma-informed approaches, TBRI, crisis intervention, and work with military and first responder populations.

Before becoming a counselor, Molly spent more than a decade in ministry, discipleship, residential care, and foster ministry. She and her husband spent approximately six years caring for more than 70 children and adolescents, many of whom had experienced trauma, loss, instability, and family disruption. Molly especially enjoys working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Her areas of interest include anxiety, trauma, emotional regulation, ADHD and executive-functioning struggles, grief, marriage and relationship difficulties, family dynamics, parenting, infertility and pregnancy loss, major life transitions, and spiritual struggles.

Molly's counseling style is warm and relational, but also practical and direct. She wants clients to understand what has shaped them without becoming defined by their past or their emotions. She believes thoughts and beliefs profoundly affect how people interpret their experiences and respond emotionally and behaviorally. At the same time, she does not believe every painful emotion is evidence of wrong thinking. Emotions matter, but they do not determine what is true.

The Think Right Framework fits naturally with Molly's approach. She uses it to help clients slow down emotional reactions, identify underlying beliefs, compare those beliefs with Scripture, and determine what it would look like to actually live according to what God says is true. For Molly, Scripture is not something added to counseling when convenient. It is the final authority for understanding truth, identity, freedom, and genuine human flourishing.
